Out of my seven USA business travels between 2011 and 2018, I spent three in the midwest around the great lakes; mostly Chicago/IL and Cleveland/OH, and one in Wichita/KS.
M&Ms Vending Machine in Chicago
Huge Candy Store with sweets all over the place - but that machine was just the best 🙂

Chicago Downtown
Back in 2015, I didn't even know who the owner of that building on the right was...
One-way plates in a hotel
Hard to believe, but even in a not too inexpensive hotel they were using paper plates and plastic cutlery for the breakfast. Chicago/IL, 2015.
Deep-dish Pizza!
Yes, they call it Pizza. And it's delicious - whenever you're in Chicago, you gotta try it.

Old Town of Wichita
That's about the busiest street I was able to find during three days in Wichita.
Wichita Skyline
Probably the only building in Wichita highter than three floors. Not even the river seemed to be moving.

Arkansas River
This river flows right through Wichita, although it barely moves. I walked along this pathway for about 7km and couldn't find another bridge but wanted to get to the other side... so I just walked through the water...
