During my years at SAP I visited Palo Alto and the California Bay Area three times. These were some of my favorite business trips. The sorroundings are just so diverse and beautiful – and that bridge just has a magical aura. During my very last trip for SAP in 2018, I traveled to Las Vegas… which is just not from this world; but great for a last business trip.
On a free Saturday in February 2017 I did a short road trip through the valley and visited different campuses of the big IT players.

When renting my car at a business trip in April 2015, I was provided with a welcoming upgrade. Ugly color, but great engine 🙂

One of the best and least touristy places to watch the sun rise behind Golden Gate Bridge. Takes a while to hike town, but the views are just beautiful.

My absolute favorite picture of the bridge. This was taken in February 2017 early in the morning. I got up at 3:30am to be at that beach by 4:30.
