2300 kilometers through Germany

Castles and mountains

Our first bike packing trip outside of North-America brought us to Western Europe between May and Junne 2025 – where we spent more than two weeks on our bicycles, traveling Germany from North to South, and West to East, while checking out parts of Czech, Austria, and France. We not only visited family and friends along the way, but also put in a marathon running event for good measure. An unforgettable time in a very cycling friendly country full of beautiful vistas, impressive architecture, delicious cakes and pastries, towns and castles dating back more than 1200 years, and countless positive experiences.
